It’s the question that plagues many brides. It causes stomaches. It makes you want to tear out your hair. It rips families apart. It’s the dreaded question that has to be answered.
“Are kids invited to your wedding?”
If you’re anything like me, you want to scream “NO!”
Sadly though, we are often reminded that this is a decision that, whether we like it or not, will affect people we love.
Sure, you’re already trying to budget and make room for adult guests. You’re already having to pare your guest list down for numerous reasons. It’s natural to be stressed about the feeling of having to invite children.
So, what’s a good solution?
Your venue, of course!
One of the unique things about our venue is that we have rooms of various sizes that can be used for numerous purposes. In fact, we have a room that is just big enough to hold lots of kids. Our room is separate from the event space, but close enough that parents have immediate access to their children.
If you find a venue with a room that can accommodate kids, then you are able to hire a baby sitter and order pizza for your smallest guests. They are still part of your big day, but they aren’t in the middle of the action.
Finding a kid-friendly venue space is a great solution to that ominous question. It allows you to have your cake and eat it too!
